Welcome to ALOPOTH. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ALOPOTH website, mobile application, and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Accounts and Registration

1.1 Account Creation

To access most features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (including Name, Phone, and Email) during the registration process.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and login credentials. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

1.3 Age Restrictions

Students: Users under the age of 13 must obtain parental consent to use the services.
Teachers: You must be at least 18 years old to register as an instructor and monetize content.

2. Terms for Teachers

As a "Teacher First" platform, we value your expertise. However, certain rules apply to ensure quality and safety.

2.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload (videos, PDFs, materials). By uploading content to ALOPOTH, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, publish, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to students.

2.2 Content Accuracy & Legality

You warrant that your content is accurate, original, and does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

2.3 Payments & Payouts

Revenue Share: ALOPOTH will pay you a percentage of the net amount received for your courses, as per the agreed-upon [Commission/Payout Schedule].
Taxes: You are responsible for any income taxes associated with your earnings.
Verification: Payouts may be withheld pending successful KYC verification (National ID check).

3. Terms for Students

3.1 License to View

When you purchase or enroll in a course, ALOPOTH grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

3.2 Restrictions

You may not:

Reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, lend, or modify any content.
Share your account credentials with others to split the cost of a course.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Pricing

Prices for courses are determined by the Teachers or by ALOPOTH (depending on your business model) and are listed in the local currency (BDT).

4.2 Payment Processing

We use third-party payment gateways (e.g., bKash, Nagad, Bank Cards). By making a payment, you agree to their respective terms of service.

4.3 Refund Policy

[Option A - Strict:] All sales are final. Refunds are only issued if a course is removed due to a policy violation or technical error. [Option B - Flexible:] We offer a [Number]-day refund policy if you are unsatisfied with the course content, provided you have viewed less than [X]% of the material.

5. Prohibited Use (Code of Conduct)

Users agree not to:

Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
Post content that is defamatory, hateful, violent, or obscene.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or hack the ALOPOTH platform.
Harass teachers or other students via the messaging system.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

ALOPOTH IP: The ALOPOTH logo, platform design, code, and trademarks are the property of ALOPOTH.
User IP: As stated in Section 2, course content remains the property of the respective Teacher.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

7.1 "As Is" Basis

The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7.2 Educational Outcomes

ALOPOTH is a facilitator of information. We do not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or career outcomes from taking courses on our platform.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALOPOTH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your City, e.g., Dhaka].
